Normalization of Question Paper

The normalization procedure aligns all candidates across different sessions on a comparative scale, ensuring that each candidate’s performance is reflected accurately. This approach is commonly used in other competitive exams in India to avoid discrepancies caused by session-based variations.

Details Information
Multiple Sessions TG EAPCET 2025 will be conducted in multiple sessions, using the same syllabus and pattern for candidates with the same eligibility criteria.
Single Session A candidate can appear in only one session.
Variation in Difficulty Since different papers are set for each session, there may be variations in the difficulty levels of the question papers. However, care will be taken to maintain consistency in the standard of all question papers.
Normalization Process To eliminate any variations in difficulty levels, a normalization process will be adopted. This ensures that no candidate gets an advantage or disadvantage due to the session they appear in.
Impact of Normalization The normalization process will adjust the scores, with the marks from easier sessions being reduced slightly and those from harder sessions being increased slightly, depending on the average performance in each session. This adjustment ensures fairness across sessions, and the changes will be marginal.
