MPT: Eligibility Criteria
To pursue MPT in a reputable and recognised college or university, one must satisfy the fundamental entry standards listed below:
- Minimum 50% in a Bachelor’s degree in the same discipline from a recognised board or university, i.e. Bachelor of Physiotherapy.
- A 6-month required internship with a reputable organisation in the same industry.
- A candidate may apply under the General/OBC/SC/ST categories; NRI students have the same chance in the Foreign/NRI category.
- If you are seeking for admission to a certain university or college, you may be required to take a college/university-based entrance exam. Students with NEET PG marks are excused from taking college admission exams.
Difference between Bachelor, Post Graduate and Doctorate degree
- If a candidate wants to be a general trainer or physiotherapist trainee, then BPT (Bachelor’s Physiotherapy) will cover all the general physio subjects.
- MPT (Masters in Physiotherapy) includes one specialized subject and detailed analysis about the same with research published articles and internships of at least six months.
- Doctorate degrees are mandatory for applying for the post of a lecturer

IPU CET 2023
Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test for Master of Physiotherapy 2023 or IPU CET MPT 2023 is the entrance examination for admission to MPT (Musculoskeletal), MPT (Neurology), MPT (Sports) and MPT (Cardiopulmonary). IPU CET MPT 2023 is conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
- The Minimum Academic Qualifications for IPU CET MPT 2023 required are
- Pass in Bachelor of Physiotherapy programme (BPT) of 4½ years duration (including internship) with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University
- Pass in Bachelor of Physiotherapy/B.Sc. (Physiotherapy) of 3½ years duration (including internship) with 50% marks in aggregate and bridge course of one year with 50% marks from a recognized University
NEET PG 2023

NEET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification – Candidates are required to possess MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognised by the Indian Medical Council Act 1956
- Certificate of Registration – Candidates must have MBBS qualification registration (permanent/provisional). This registration is supposed to be issued by MCI or State Medical Council (SMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI)
- Internship – As per the eligibility criteria of NEET PG candidates must complete their one year internship on or before July 31, 2023.
MET PG 2023
Manipal Academy of Higher Education is in charge of starting the MET 2023 test. Those who want to take the test can go to the official website and fill out the application form.
MET 2023 Eligibility Criteria –
- There is no age bar to apply.
- To apply for the Post Graduate program, the candidate must have acquired a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying UG degree.
VEE 2023
VELS Entrance Examination (VEE) is a qualifying entrance exam for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by VELS University Chennai. The exam is conducted by VELS University Chennai. VEE 2023 will be held on May 13, 2023(tentatively) in offline mode. Those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can appear for the exam.
