About BCom

The BCom full form is Bachelor of Commerce which is a three-year UG program is intended to give students a strong foundation in business and commerce principles. BCom Eligibility Criteria

In order to be admitted into BCom courses, candidates who are interested in pursuing BCom courses must meet the eligibility requirements and have certain skills. To be admitted into their short-listed B Com colleges, candidates must score at least as high as the cut-off percentage, which is established by the top Commerce colleges.

Regardless of the candidate’s test results, certain private colleges that offer BCom courses may grant direct admission to those courses. Although each college has its own set of selection standards and admission procedures, the following are the fundamental prerequisites for pursuing B Com courses:

  • Applicants have to finish 12th standard. However, the percentage needed varies from college to college. 
  • The candidate must have studied commerce in classes eleven and twelfth, with accountancy and business as required subjects.
  • The candidate should have taken commerce in classes 11 and 12, with accountancy, business studies, math, economics, and/or optional subjects required.
  • To be considered for admission, candidates must achieve the minimal score required by the university or institution.

BCom Admission Process

Depending on the college or university, the admissions procedure for BCom courses may differ slightly. The steps for BCom admissions process are as follows:

  • Verify Your Eligibility: Make sure you fulfill the prerequisites, which typically include earning a certain percentage in Class 12 (or equivalent) from an accredited board.
  • Complete the application forms: Complete the application forms provided by the colleges you have selected to attend. The official college website is where you can complete this online.
  • Entrance Exams (if any): For admission to BCom programs, some colleges require entrance exams. Register and get ready for these tests if necessary.
  • Send in the necessary documents: Send in the required paperwork, including grade reports, identification documentation, passport-sized photos, and other certificates. Colleges will make available the results of their entrance exams or a merit list. Verify whether your name is on the list.

BCom Type of Courses

A three-year undergraduate degree known as a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) focuses on business law, accounting, finance, taxation, economics, and commerce. BCom serves as the cornerstone around which other studies can be built.
