Through this exam, admission is offered to 5-year integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM (PG) law courses. Admission will be given into UG courses at 24 NLUs and PG courses at 21 NLUs. Class 12th passed or bachelor degree holder candidates are eligible to apply.

- Consortium of NLUs has started the CLAT 2025 application process from 15th July 2024 for both UG & PG courses.
- Application can be filled through online mode only, no offline method is provided by the authority.
- The registration process involve various steps such as registration, document upload, updating NLU preference, fee submit, etc.
- Candidates are advised to go through the complete eligibility criteria first before filling the form.
- While filling the form, candidates must be careful as there will be no correction facility provided by the authority.
- After filling the form, upload the requisite documents such as photograph, signature & other required certificates in pdf format.

How to Apply for CLAT 2025
By following the given step by step procedure, candidates will be able to fill the form:
- Step-1: Visit the online website (Link is given above).
- Step-2: On the homepage, click on the “CLAT 2025” link.
- Step-3: A login form will appear on the screen, click on “Don’t have any account? Register button”.
- Step-4: Registration form will pop-up on the screen and start register yourself by providing the details.
- Step-5: Now fill the preference among all the 22 national law universities.
- Step-6: Upload the required documents in PDF format.
- Step-7: Now submit the application fee using online mode.
- Step-8: Recheck the filled details in the form and submit it.
- Step-9: Lastly, take a hardcopy of the form and keep it safe till admission.

CLAT 2025 Exam Pattern
Here candidates can check the complete CLAT exam pattern 2025 to prepare better for the exam:
- Mode of Exam: Through offline (Pen-paper based) mode, the exam will be conducted.
- Types of Questions: Exam will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) & Subjective type questions.
- Sections: Total 5 sections will be there in the question paper of UG courses.
- Duration: Candidates will be given 2 hours to solve the paper.
- Medium: Exam will be held only in English language.
- Number of Questions: Total 120 questions will be asked for both UG & PG exam.
- Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, 1 mark will be given.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

CLAT 2025 Admit Card
CLAT admit card 2025 will be released in the third week of November 2024. Consortium of NLUs will publish the admit card through online mode only, no other offline method will be provided. Login credentials such as Registration number/application number and date of birth will be required to access the admit card.
Candidates are suggested to keep the hardcopy of it save for the day of examination. It will be mandatory for all applying candidates to carry the original admit card along with the ID proof to the exam center.
It will consist with details such as candidate’s name, date of birth, parent’s name, date, time, venue, address, signature, photograph, etc. After downloading admit card, candidates must go through the details carefully. In case of any discrepancy in it contact the authority immediately for the rectification.
CLAT 2025 Answer Key
After conducting the CLAT 2025 examination, the provisional answer key will be published on the website. it will be accessed through online mode, no other mode will be provided. Candidates will be able to download CLAT answer key from the first week of December 2024. It will consist with all the correct answers to the questions that will be asked in the exam.
The Consortium of NLUs will also provide the facility to challenge the answer key in case of any mistake in it. Objection facility will be available only for the particular period of time. After analyzing all the received objections, the final answer key will be published. The result will also be prepared by the authority on the basis of the final answer key.
CLAT 2025 Result
Consortium of NLUs will be announced the CLAT result 2025 in the third week of December 2024. It will be declared through online mode only. Candidates will have to visit the website of authority to access result. The result will carry the qualifying status of all test-takers.

Candidates are advised to keep the hardcopy of the scorecard safe for counselling and seat allotment purposes. CLAT cut off 2025 will be released by the authority thorough online mode. Those qualified candidates in the exam will be able to check the cut off marks from the website.
The cut off marks will be released for all the participating National Law Universities after each round of counselling and during seat allotment procedure. For both UG & PG courses, it will be release separately on the website. It will be affected by various factors such as exam difficulty level, change in seat intake and matrix, etc.

CLAT 2025 Counselling
Consortium of NLUs will organized CLAT counselling 2025 from the last week of December 2024. Shortlisted candidates in the exam will be able to appear for the counselling procedure. Candidates will have to indicate their NLUs preference online where they want to take admission by centralized counselling procedure during counselling procedure.
It will be conducted separately for both UG & PG programmes. There will be various rounds in the counselling procedure. After each round of counselling, the seat allotment for each participating NLUs will be released.
